Art School trained at Wimbledon School of Art and Camberwell School of Art, James started his career in 1999 working for a well established scenic production studio Eastwoodcook Ltd. During this time he gradually widened his skill set as a carpenter, sculptor and painter and had the good fortune to travel the world doing a job he was passionate about.

Since 2007 he has spent the majority of his time working in the museum and heritage sector as a freelance designer and maker.

Most recently he was contracted to work at the Zoological Society of London, London Zoo, working closely with Keeper, Communication and Interpretation departments on both the visitor and animal 'side'.

James is creative, observant and visual. He has a large skill set whether it is a digital model or mural, an authentic animal enclosure or a one off prop. He understands the exacting and ever changing requirements when working within the zoo or visitor environment.

He is proud to be a Corporate Associate of the Biritsh and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA).

'Digital Drama have commissioned James and have found his work to be excellent. He is very good at taking a design brief and making it a 3D reality...which looks great, is in budget and delivered on time. We would recommend James to anyone looking for a designer for projects both large or small.'
